Where can I buy a Drayton TRV2 adapter (AD3)?

Post by MisterBoy »

This page says I need an AD3 adapter: https://theevohomeshop.co.uk/content/9- ... patibility

But you don't seem to sell them here: https://theevohomeshop.co.uk/15-radiator-valve-adapters

And nowhere can I find what thread dimensions the TRV2 uses, to go looking for one. Can you help? I just dropped a monkey and planned to fit them before Christmas, only to be confronted by all these silly old TRVs the former owners installed!

Hi,

These were discontinued by the supplier we were using, hence we no longer sell them.

The dimension was M28x1mm.

Good luck with the search.

Yep, AD3 if they have them... Bear in mind these have been discontinued by Pegler Yorkshire, so when they run out they will be gone forever...

With that in mind you might want to update your website... It claims compatibility with these valves but if the adapters aren't available this is fairly misleading.

I imagine I'd replace valves as they're probably quite old but it would be a rude shock that a simple DIY job turns into replacing all your valves!

I might stockpile them!

I have updated the website to reflect your feedback... Really Drayton TRV2 should be replaced, as they will have quite a bit of age about them by now.
