Trying to bind 2 new additional thermostats (THR092HRT). No luck. Tried 10 times with both devices, timeout after 10 minutes each.
I successfully binded half a dozen of the exact same thermostats 3 years ago. They work like a charm until now. However, the new ordered additional 2 units (bought today) refuse to.
Any ideas? Has the product changed in the last years and became incompatible to the older controllers? I have the THR993-RT kit from 2014 with the RFG100. The product codes from 2014 and the new devices are exactly the same.
Thanks for any support!
Dirk
Binding issue with THR092HRT
Re: Binding issue with THR092HRT
Hi Dirk,
They should work fine...
Are you following the binding sequence properly?

Re: Binding issue with THR092HRT
OK, I'm one step further:
I can get the 2 new thermostats to bind to a new zone each.
However, when the 2nd thermostat bounds to zone2, it drops the 1st thermostat out of zone1 and visa versa.
The problem is reproducible. I can only get one thermostat bound to a zone without "kicking" the other one out.
I had 6 zones working before. Since I can only add 1 out of 2 new ones I can get only a total of 7 zones working simultaneously. Is there a limit on maximal zones of 7?
Is there a way to bound 2 thermostats (which are in the same room) to the same zone?
Thanks!
Dirk
