I have a new evohome installation in a victorian 3 storey semidetached house.
There are 2 radiators on the attic room controlled by HR92's. The Evohome controller is wall mounted on the landing below, with a max distance of <10m. Walls are lath and plaster, floors wood.
I got a comms failure report for the attic zone and performed an RF Check - both HR92's give RF signal of 5 bidirectionally.
I just bought a couple of Y87RF's, one for use in the attic as both radiators where partially obscured by low wooden cabinets, so unlikely to give reliable temperature measurements.
To install the attic Y87RF I unbound the existing HR92's and deleted the attic zone. I then recreated the zone and bound the Y87RF as the sensor, signal level 4, then adding the HR92's again. [In passing I notice the controller summary does not mention the separate sensor in the description of the zone].
After a few hours the comms fault recurred. Does this mean one of the actuators will not operate? And is it likely to be faulty?
Persistent Comms Failure report

Any photos of the comms errors?

Re: Persistent Comms Failure report
Just took a look with a view to taking a pic - and it has cleared (of course!)
I did clear the log yesterday evening which may have had an effect.
I'm away from home now for the rest of the week so I'll monitor remotely.
Can you confirm if the approach I took to adding the T87 was correct?
Regards
