Basic y plan set up , hot water problems?

Just installed the evohome system yesterday.
The system is a y plan mid position valve, with two wireless relays one for hot water and one for central heating.
When the call for hot water that is bringing on both relays.
But if heating only just operates the correct relay.
The wireless relay that came with the controller was already bound.
Do I need to change this?,
Any help would be much appreciated.
