DTS92 Accuracy

A few weeks ago I bought a DTS92 from smartthermostatshop for my lounge to act as a zone sensor, and it works just fine. I bought a couple more plus a T87RF for other problematic area's and seem to have an issue with one of them. Lounge (DTS92) - Setpoint 16.0 - Sensor Displays 16.0 - Controller ...

Re: Getting 100% demand in a zone

Just in case anybody else stumbles across this with the same problem. I think I've fixed it. Deleted the zone, and redone it again from scratch , and that appears to have done the trick.

Re: Getting 100% demand in a zone

I've been having a similar problem, 7 out of 8 zones are working fine, but this 1 zone just keeps demanding 100%. Setpoint 16, temp = 17.5, HR92 valve is closed, radiator cold... but still 100% demand. I've found that manually overriding the temp on the HR92 to say, 15.5, fixes it and demand drops ...

Re: Hot water priority with multizone

Thanks for the confirmation, it took me a while but I got there. My plumber/installer was rather insistent on keeping the S-Plan system I already had, and retaining a heating zone valve. He's a bit old school, but a reliable and experienced. He's fitted it now and seems to be working, with a few ...

Re: Evohome + Opentherm + Viessmann Vitodens 100

First post apologies if already been covered. But noting the original date this thread started it was when the older style of the 100-w was out Does the problem of the temps still running at 80deg still exist on the latest models ? I have just purchased the B1KF model and have the evohome already ...

Re: Hot water priority with multizone

I think I'm getting there and the penny is dropping (slowly) OpenTherm wireless bridge replaces BDR91 as boiler control. So... in my S Plan system - R8810A OpenTherm bridge connected to boiler and bound to the Controller as boiler control (orange wire from zone valves not connected) - BDR91 ...

Ok just a thought OpenTherm wireless bridge replaces BDR91 as boiler control. So... in my S Plan system - R8810A OpenTherm bridge connected to boiler and bound to the Controller as boiler control - BDR91 connected to HW zone valve and bound to the controller as HW valve - BDR91 connected to the ...

Hot water priority with multizone

I thought I'd start a new thread for this rather than continuing to hijack someone elses. I can't see how to configure Hot water priority with multizone. Currently I have an S-Plan system with two zone valves. One for hot water and one for heating. For Hot water priority Honeywell say I need two ...

Re: S-plan setup with multiple zones and stored hot water

Can you not just bind one BDR91 as Hot water valve, and the other as Heating valve instead of boiler control ? Hot water priority won't even work without two valves.

Re: S-plan setup with multiple zones and stored hot water

In the event the heating zone valve fails, if I understand correctly. The controller will call for heat, activating the heating BDR91 which will respond. And Evohome will think all is well and the boiler has been activated. When in fact this is not the case, the boiler will be sitting idle. The pump ...
