Re: New controller ECO mode vs old Controller -3 degrees iss
You can now adjust the 'eco' mode in user settings (settings > quick actions > eco/boost). Hi - Thanks, however only if the unit has been updated with the latest software - Honeywell did this remotely for me, however despite their assurance, it lost most of its previous setting so, be warned ! It ...

Re: Does Evohome explicity shut off HR92s not requiring heat
The first bit was a small joke reference to the fact you said it was the first time you had ever seen the risk of TPI'ing a motorised zone valve. Think nothing of it. ;) The 'issue' with having a zone valve for heating between the boiler and the HR91/HR92 is that evohome doesn't know it is there ...

Re: Does Evohome explicity shut off HR92s not requiring heat
Hi I'm certainly no expert, just some experience of 2 systems I've installed, from my experience the guidance is to have a CH motorised valve (if you have one) permanently open so as to allow a flow path to any of the HR92s which should fully close when no demand from them (ie demand from DHW only ...

New controller ECO mode vs old Controller -3 degrees issue
Hi, I have recently fitted a 2022 EVOHME control panel for my son (with smart features) and got caught out as in ECO mode, it doesn't work the same as my own older 2016 Controller and not sure whether I have a setting wrong. So, on my 2016 when in ECO, the HR92 and panel display show the temp that ...

Re: do I allow boiler overrun when all valves are closed.
Thanks for your response, makes sense and can confirm the bypass valve is in place and i can here is working (can faintly hear it), so its working. As I'm sure you can tell, not over familiar with the overrun function, if its to help cool the boiler, this will be constantly overrunning as any of the ...

do I allow boiler overrun when all valves are closed.
How do I allow boiler overrun when all valves are closed. Ideal Logic 15 boiler, S plan Plus system (3 zone - CH, DHW and single heat zone (lounge)), I've set a boiler relay and then a DHW Bdr91 and a single zone Mot valve. On the original wiring set up, the Boiler seems to be switched via end ...

Re: Help wiring DHW tank insertion sensor unvented tank
UPDATE ! I contacted Honeywell Tech Support (very helpful), who confirmed that you leave the original insertion sensor (originally fitted to the tank) in the insertion sensor and wire the switch (brown) wire to the motorised valve in series through the limit sensor. This means that if the temp ...

Help wiring DHW tank insertion sensor unvented tank
I am planning to fit Domestic hot water wireless kit as part of an S Plan Plus system, however as the HW tank (range tribune HE) is part of an unvented tank and I want to use the insertion sensor. I understand that there needs to be a max temp limit cut out, however I'm not sure how to wire this ...
