I can now answer my own question in case anybody runs into the same issue... rebooting didn't sort it but disconnect/connect to Wifi fixed it. As soon as the outside temperature came up the Smart Features appeared

After phone call I have just had the latest firmware (19.33) pushed onto my Evohome controller (ATC928G3000), all went well and it rebooted but I can't see any of the expected new features yet. The one I was after in particular is the weather compensation but I still only get the "delayed start/stop ...
