Opentherm Rrom Temp Issue.
Hi all, I've had Opentherm running relatively smoothly for several years and then late Spring this year, I noticed one room started to regularly drop from the setpoint temperature, whereas it had always been very good at maintaining a steady room temperature prior to this. Unfortunately it was ...

Re: Ideal Logic Max Combi2 Opentherm problems
Interesting thread as also have an Ideal boiler, which was already in the house, and I too am using Opentherm. With no heating demand scheduled, the boiler will randomly run both the pump and fan for exactly 4 minutes, sometimes consecutively, often multiple times an hour or as infrequently as once ...

Thanks for your reply.
Would you mind sharing what you adjust these to?

Re: Is 'optimisation' any good?
My own experience of optimum start is it switches on far too early, even after weeks of supposedly learning the charachteristics of a particular room, so I too eventually switched it off. I can have the living room up to temperature in around 30 minutes on all but the coldest of days but optimum ...

Opentherm: Cycle rate & minimum on time.
Hi all,
I was wondering if running Opentherm overrides the default Evohome combi cycle rate and minimum on time of 6 cycles & 1 minute, and if not, do these need adjusting to compliment Opentherm?
Thanks.

Re: HR92 - room temperature exceeds settings in 2 areas
I also have a multi room setup and I have found if an HR92 is calling for 100% from the boiler relay, for example when a particular schedule for a room is activated, it will cause zones already at a setpoint, possibly having been so for hours, to then start to overshoot. The degree of overshoot is ...

Re: HR92 temperature offset
I calibrated all of my HR92's with the radiators off and using the same thermometer. Make sure to leave the thermometer in the room to settle before you use it for calibration. I placed a small digital thermometer on top of each HR92 for several hours and that is how I was able to decide on the ...

Re: Alexa not working with Y87RF temp sensor.
I have a Y87RF working with a Hr932, I dont have Alexa but have Google home. Hey Google commands work okay with it. I hope I have the Y87RF working as the temperature sensor and not the HR92. How do you know which one is working as the temperature sensor? Apologies for the late reply as the festive ...

Alexa not working with Y87RF temp sensor.
Hi all, I have recently added a Y87RF to a zone, which is working as a temperature sensor in conjunction with the HR92, which now just functions as the actuator. Unfortunately this is now the only zone of 8 where I can longer request a temperature via Alexa or even check on the current temperature ...
