I leave my hot water on during the day.The reality is the boiler will only fire when it needs to.It rarely fires up during the day. I have hot water priority enabled so when everyone starts having showers it keeps the water at a usable temperature.

One thing I would recommend is don't stress too much about room names, just bind the radiator valves in a logical order even if the names don't match the rooms. That way if you have go through and do them again you aren't walking back and forth. Once the valves are bound if you press the right hand ...

I have a Worcester oil fired standard boiler and purchased a complete kit including hot water.

Previously my boiler was using an inbuilt timer.

I took the boiler back to standard wiring, I tested this by powering it up and it fired immediately so I knew I had a good starting point.
