I leave my hot water on during the day.The reality is the boiler will only fire when it needs to.It rarely fires up during the day. I have hot water priority enabled so when everyone starts having showers it keeps the water at a usable temperature.

One thing I would recommend is don't stress too much about room names, just bind the radiator valves in a logical order even if the names don't match the rooms.
