OK thanks I thought that might be the case. I suppose I could use one more HR92 on the rad close to the controller and use that as its actuator.
Isn't the multi zone kit brochure a bit misleading though. Here's the quote from it:

Sorry could you clarify a little - does this mean that once I started adding HR92 controllers, I need to have one on every radiator in the house? (Or I need some other sort of actuator for every zone). I can't keep the original zone?
