Replace the valve, unfortunately.

Re: Compensation with Evohome
It's also working in a very basic/rudimentary form - if the difference between the (obtained from the internet) outside temp, and the zone is greater than the threshold (of your choosing in the settings) it'll jack the temperature up of that zone by a set (of your choosing) amount. 'Proper' weather ...

Re: Evohome, combi boiler + rads + UFH
Just for clarity, neither Andrew nor Worcester Bosch invented Closely Spaced Tees (I'm not sure why we call them 'Close Coupled Tees' in the UK either, as this is a way we connect toilets not heating systems! ). CST's come from the hydronic designers in America. Both Andrew and Worcester have ...

Re: Evohome, combi boiler + rads + UFH
Can close this topic if required - resideo confirmed it's not possible without losing the HR92s, as a zone is either a HR92, or a zone valve, you can't have HR92's 'under' a zone valve. (Which is a shame).
I'm unsure what I'll do to fix this challenge, short of ditching the whole lot.

Evohome, combi boiler + rads + UFH
I currently run evohome, and like it a great deal. I am wanting to optimise my heating system which consists of a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 35CDi combi boiler, 7 radiators and a UFH system containing 3 loops for three rooms. I am using an evohome system with HR92s on all of the radiators, and a ...

Re: Intergas Xtreme combi with rads, UFH and evohome Openthe
Thanks, that makes sense. And in terms of controls; I’m thinking through - how would the secondary pump be activated when using an opentherm gateway? I know I’d drive the UFH pump from the HCC80 pump output, but not sure how to drive the rads secondary pump when any radiator is calling for heat? [e ...

Re: Intergas Xtreme combi with rads, UFH and evohome Openthe
Makes a lot of sense, and not surprising that UFH manufacturers are not designing as a whole; they’re just thinking of ‘their’ system. In terms of a buffer cylinder, what sort of size are you generally thinking of? I’m presuming that like the use of a LLH, you’d then be running a pump/circulator for ...

Re: Intergas Xtreme combi with rads, UFH and evohome Openthe
Thanks, I’m interested to understand the approach. Doing research it seems that most people (underfloor heating suppliers, boiler makers etc) propose using an S plan style system with a two port valve on each ‘zone’ (ie one for UFH and another for rads in the case of a combi boiler system).. My curre ...

Re: Intergas Xtreme combi with rads, UFH and evohome Openthe
Thanks, this system hasn’t been built yet, I was just querying what is suggested in the manual.
What would you suggest, low loss header?
