Hi, As far as I know, Honeywell is working on a Evohome firmware update which will introduce some new fetures. This "Weather Compensation/Optimisation" option you mention is one of the new features. Hi all, I am planning to replace my existing radiators and TRV bodies with new ones. What should an Evohome user do after this kind of upgrade ? Should one reset the Evohome system (delete and recreate all the zones) in order to allow it to re-run its learning algorithm ? Or is this optional ...

If using OpenTherm is acts very similar to weather compensation with regards to how it controls the boiler. OpenTherm when it has demand but at/near 'set point' will turn off the boilers gas valve but keep the pump controlled by the boiler 'running'. It is important at this stage to have somewhere ...
