Re: Adding boiler control
Thanks for the reply, yes I understand the 'duplication' comment. Is there a wiring schematic for this kind of setup, or even a description of what does what when and why? Looking and listening to my current setup the boiler fires every 20 mins, presumably because of the Evo's 3 cycles/h setting ...

Adding boiler control
My Evohome setup is an S Plan system with Hot Water. So 3 zone valves each operated by a wireless thermostat via relay boxes and the Controller. No individual wireless TRVs, they didn't work reliably in our old stone building. Is it possible to add a boiler relay to control it and would that offer ...

Re: Compensation with Evohome
Thanks for the replies
For a 'flagship' product it does surprise me that Honeywell, with all their knowledge and resources, haven't added flow temperature compensation.
Particularly since European boilers are now nearly all condensing, I might have to add it to mine with a Raspberry Pi !

Refining an S Plan system
Evotouch, S Plan system, 2 Heating Zones controlled by 2 wireless thermostats (Y87Rf2024) and relay boxes, HW controlled by ATF500DHW, Oil Condensing Boiler.
Is there a simple way to add better control of the boiler and pump which at the moment runs on/off on the Zone Valves Orange wires?
Thanks

Re: Zone without an Actuator
My reasoning is that as a zone can be defined by a room thermostat (I have two in my house using DTE92s) and in setup you can choose the controller thermostat to do just that, then that is the controlling device.

Re: Zone without an Actuator
Not tried this myself but I think the following would work. If you use the thermostat in the controller your dummy zone would turn on and off with the temperature it measured, if that is what you want it would just have to be set as a new zone and a new linked BDR91 box made to operate in parallel ...

Loss of WiFi connection
After working without problem for more than 2 weeks, suddenly, the controller WiFi connection to our router has been lost. The controller is wall mounted one floor below the router. Using the steps to reconnect, the router is found no problem but despite the correct password no connection results ...
