Something that will control a Motorised Zone Valve would be preferable.

Well I think I have found the setting I am looking for, having trolled the internet I eventually ended up on the Honeywell site and in one of their support page and found this:-

On the evohome Controller
1 Press and hold SETTINGS for 5 seconds
2 Press the green tick
3 Press SYSTEM DEVICES
4 Press ...

Anyone know how long the controller should run when not on it's stand. Ours runs about 10 / 15 mins before low battery warning .... it that what's expected?
