Re: CS92 not reporting correct temperature
Sorry, should have said self installed, with a lot of electrical installation experience.

Re: CS92 not reporting correct temperature
Nothing wrong with any of the other units. No battery problems with any of the units (yet!) - all up to scratch.
I'm sure I've seen several posts on this in the past, though I haven't seen anything recently. That's why I wondered if there had been a fix.

CS92 not reporting correct temperature
Have had Evohome system for a couple of years now. In that time, the CS92 has stopped reporting the correct cylinder temperature several times. The effect that the boiler goes on heating the hot water until the cylinder over-temperature valve starts to release water. I've read in this forum that ...

Tip for hot water in large install with 2 boilers
I have a house with 2 boilers (needs 2 controllers), downstairs CH and DHW on one and upstairs CH on the second. The first controller has the DHW zone looking after the hot water temp and heating times as normal. I found that the hot water sensor can be bound to both controllers so the upstairs ...

Re: Best way to add UFH zones with Evohome
The HCC80R Controller comes with a step by step installation & setup manual, which is quite good. The thing to remember is that the thermostats communicate directly with the main controller and not with the HCC80R. I have a similar setup with a mix of rads and UF zones. The HCC80R will directly ...

New controller symbol?
I've just noticed a new symbol in the hot water section of the controller display. It looks like a little red furnace where there used to be a red dot. Has there been an update to the firmware which has changed this?

Re: Adding UFH to an existing Evohome system
The rads are all normally in parallel (two pipe system), so the hot water will just run round the pipework but not into the rads.
The system wouldn't work if the rads were all in series.

Re: Disabling one HR92 in a 2 rad zone
Just take the head off the radiator HR92 and wind down the wheel to shut off the rad. Leave the batteries in to maintain comms.
When you've done with the tree, just wind out the wheel and put the head back.
Mean time the Y87 will continue to control the other rad.

Re: Adding UFH to an existing Evohome system
Hi. I have just added a two zone UFH system to a multi-zone radiator setup. I used an HCC80R, a separate zone valve for the UFH (plus of course a typical manifold, mixing valve and pump), and a couple of remote sensors for the two UFH zones. The HCC80 controls the zone valve and the zone valve turns ...
