Re: DHW turns on at 15oC even when switched off
No, because otherwise you would disable the frost protection when its used correctly? This system wasn't designed to heat hot tubs... ;) So, my particular problem now solved .... I realise not in scope of normal Evohome setup, so not recommending this, but just for information ... I've added ...

Re: DHW turns on at 15oC even when switched off
As the hot water kit is designed to protect hot water cylinders, using it 'out of scope' means it is going to do this as evohome is frost protecting the 'cylinder'. :geek: Seems a feasible answer, thankyou. Shame as the function works perfectly otherwise. I dont suppose there's a way to totally ...

DHW turns on at 15oC even when switched off
I have Evohome setup (ATC928G3000) around the house for a number of years and have used the "Stored Hot Water"(DHW) function to control our HotTub heating (no DHW cylinder). Hot tub is set up with a 2 port zone valve via BDR91 Wireless Relay Box and CS92A Cylinder Thermostat with a Swimming pool ...

Re: ATF500DHW Hot Water kit to control Hot Tub
Hi Stuart, This is sort of possible, but you wouldn't have temperature control like a heating zone would (as this is hidden in the installer settings). I'm not really sure what you would gain as an advantage with this? Cool idea, but it was certainly not designed for this. 8-) Is there another ...

Re: ATF500DHW Hot Water kit to control Hot Tub
thanks for the reply,
Is it possible instead to treat the tub like an underfloor heating zone for instance and use a temperature probe in the water as the "room" temperature which would then give me full control ? (assuming I could set the room temperature aroung 40oC)
thanks

ATF500DHW Hot Water kit to control Hot Tub
Hi, I have an Evohome system controlling all radiators and looking to add a heat exchanger to a hot tub. The heatexchanger will be tapped from from the boiler radiator circuit via a motorised valve. Can I use the Hot Water kit to do this ? ie probe in the hot tub water circuit, valve switched as ...

EVOHome Amazon Echo Override
Recently configured full house system with the ATC928G3000 evohome Wi-Fi Connected Controller and multiple HR92 radiator controllers. After some teething issues, all working fine for over a week with great control. Then tried to control with IFTTT and my Amazon Echo, which appeared to change the ...
