Thanks for that Richard...when Ime near the manual next I will have a read.
On a related subject, in a past life I used to maintain industrial temperature (and flow, and pressure) controllers which used full 3 term control....proportional, integral and additionally derivative. Derivative was a ...

Lifetime impairment of V4043H?
Due to not staying at my place for extended periods and the weather as cold as it has been for many years, I have left the controller on the “Away” setting, which sets all rads at 12C. Not too hot, and nicely aired I thought, but I noticed that the CH valve switches off, then a few seconds later ...

Re: HR92 Low battery symbol even with new batteries
A mistake I have made is buying Duracell alkaline batteries from B&M. The Duracell SIMPLY range of alkaline is not suitable for just about anything more than a clock! They are cheap for a reason, I think in the old days these batteries would have been discarded.

Re: Hot water too hot
Yesterday I got home to find the HW temperature Indicated on the controller as 61C. The setting temperature is 52C, and fortunately the boiler temperature is kept quite low at 65C. When I arrived the HW BD39 was not calling for heat, and the Honeywell control valve was physically off (moved it to ...

Re: Thermostats turn off whilst scheduled to maintain 18degr
And again this morning I awake to find the lounge which has two rads still at 10c instead what the schedule says at 21c till 10am which then should drop to 20c.
The screen said there has been a manual override...this wasn’t me and because it happened overnight I am unsure when exActly.

Re: Thermostats turn off whilst scheduled to maintain 18degr
I had my lounge which has 2 rads and hence 2 heads change temperature to 23C from 20C on 17th November 2017 at 14:20 in the afternoon while I wasn’t there.
The schedule screen reported that it was caused by override, but there is only me in the house and there was no iPhone logo to indicate the ...

Re: Hot water too hot
From my near 2 year trials with a HW measured value fault at sporadic intervals of up to once every 25 day’s but as low as every day at any time of the day or night......just try taking the controller off the broadband. Silly suggestion I know but just give it a try!

Re: Hot water sensor RF COMMS FAULT
Having had communication with Honeywell, tier 2 support requested that I put my controller back on the net. This was done on 7th July 2017 and since then not a single fault has occurred. Adrian from Honeywell tier 2 support had reviewed all my evidence I sent them and suggested on the 12th September ...

Re: Hot water sensor RF COMMS FAULT
The complete hot water kit has been changed Richard, together with the CS92. I changed the whole thing because I believed the thermistor had developed an intermittent fault so it was the only way of getting one. Only after I had done that and the fault had re occurred after 20 days and when I ...

Needless to say this may be out of date since I took the controller off wifi on 7/7/2017 so there may be an update waiting.
Getting on to the fault description, it isn't strictly true to call it RF comms fault I believe. The original poster, like myself ...
