Re: Teething troubles..

Here are my thoughts as a happy Evohome user for about the last 10 years. I’m also seeing one of the zones, the living room, which has 2 rads in (all the others are just a single rad/TRV in each room) changing from a normal target temp of 22 to 5, showing ‘until’ the end of the schedule period, 2230. ...

Re: Ideal Logic Max Combi2 Opentherm problems

That's great to hear that it's all now working OK after the update to your Evohome controller's firmware and that Resideo support were able to help. I haven't previously heard of examples where the newer firmware has fixed Opentherm related boiler issues so it's great to know. I assume that the new ...

Re: Ideal Logic Max Combi2 Opentherm problems

Hi, What kind of temperature setpoint changes do you currently use across your Evohome zones (assuming you have multiple zones)? I'm wondering if you might only have small changes in the setpoints which might cause the boiler to run for most of the time rather than switching off when the zone ...

Re: bosch greenstar opentherm

I've had a search and found pictures of the Bosch 7746900496 opentherm converter & packaging and compared it to my 7746901847 version and the actual devices look identical. The only obvious difference is that mine is described as an 'Opentherm converter EMS 1' on its box whereas on your model's box ...

Re: bosch greenstar opentherm

Hi, Did someone try the Nefit adaptor with Bosch/Buderus EMS? I can't answer your question, but can share a little more information based upon my recent experience. I've just had a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30i Compact System boiler installed and based on the experience of other users I've added the ...

Re: HGI80 Windows driver?

Hi,

Did you have any luck in getting the windows driver installed successfully for the HGI80? I've got my fingers-crossed that you've now got it working in Domoticz and seeing more detailed information on your Evohome devices.

Regards,

Dan

Re: HGI80 Windows driver?

Hi, I've just re-tested on another 64bit Win10 Pro machine and I seem to be able to install the driver OK without any problems. Can I double-check the steps you followed to install the driver? These are the steps I followed: Assuming your running a 64bit machine like me, I edited usbuart3410.inf ...

Re: HGI80 Windows driver?

Hi, Here's a working link to Windows drivers for the TI3480 device in the HGI80 https://www.par-berlin.com/en/service-support/software-downloads . The link is from a medical device company which has a device using the same chip. Download and unzip this archive, but don't install and simply extract ...
